Gustine Logistics began operations on October 1st, 2020. In November 2016, John and Greg sold their previous company, JS Logistics, to US Pack Logistics. In September 2020, US Pack Logistics negotiated an early lease termination and moved from 4550 Gustine Avenue. During the negotiations, John and Greg negotiated to keep two warehouse customers at the Gustine facility. So on October 1st, 2020, Gustine Logistics began operations as a public or contract warehousing company, helping companies manage their inventory and distribution chain.
We started that day with four people. John, Greg, Greg's son Jack, and Pat Hanrahan. Pat worked 30 years as a dispatcher for JS Logistics. Jack was attending school at UMSL, but then the pandemic hit, and Jack has been here ever since. Gustine Logistics has over 35 years of experience in the Logistics industry. In 1983, John and his brother Steve started JS Express. In 1986, Greg bought out John's brother Steve. In 1986, John and Greg started two additional companies, JS Trucking and JS Warehousing. The combined entities of JS Express, JS Trucking, and JS Warehousing became JS Logistics.
